About the Scorpion System
The Scorpion Truck-Mounted Attenuator (TMA) is one of the most widely used crash cushion systems in North America. Designed to absorb the impact of an errant vehicle, the Scorpion protects both the work crew and the impacting vehicle's occupants.
Available as a truck-mounted unit or a towable trailer, the Scorpion meets NCHRP 350 and MASH TL-3 standards and is approved for use on TxDOT and FHWA projects.
